[youtube=] After many months of waiting on a list, and nagging the customer service email, I have finally been given access to the Gmail "overlay" called Fluent.

To begin, the background of this company is as follows:

Cameron Adams, Dhanji Prasanna, and Jochen Bekmann all have two thing in common. One, they all worked at Google. Two, they all have a knack for designing. After working at Google, these three guys realized that they could make Gmail into what it should be...a well designed flow of email. This is when Fluent was born.

I learned of Fluent sec on hand, from my Dad, and after looking at the demo and watching the video(top of the page), I put down my email for the waiting list. And waited...specifically for forty days. But in the end, I think it was worth it.

Here it

Lets start with the inbox. The format of Fluent really is a flow. It shows your new messages as a constant stream rather than a revolting list like the regular Gmail. When you need to see a full message, all you need to do is click on the clip and the full text will slide in from the right and appear like this...

It truly is spectacular what these designers can do with a clean slate.

Along with that if you want to make a quick reply to an email it is just one click away.

Also at any time you can access different parts of your mail like attachments, starred messages, and to-dos with the side bar.

Possibly the best feature of Fluent is the attachments feature. This is where you can view all of the attachments that have been sent to you. Saves time by the truck load.

The small things in this product really make it great, and to experience the real deal, just sign up!

It's really a great story and product so check it out!

P.S. I have been exchanging emails with Cameron Adams! It is a real honor...
