Mini Cooper...

My family has recently started to lease a Mini Cooper "S" Convertible. This car is like nothing I have ever used and/or seen in my entire life.

Simply put it is stunning...

With the top up it reminds me of a very high-class English man with a suit sipping some tea and eating come crumpets.

It is very small and compact, almost like a puppy...

But once you do this...

It is all over...you are at the helm of an untamed beast.

From the back it looks amazing. The design of the car is timeless and all of the curves and crevices are highlighted in an extraordinary way. Props to BMW.

At the same time the front end has a mean grate that purrs when you accelerate...

The styling cues are very subtle and definitely have a racing feel...

Along with all of that greatness the wheels do not disappoint on a performance or aesthetic spectrum...

After spending many hours marveling over the design level on the outside of the car I hopped into the passenger seat up front and died...

From the quality of the leather to the details that the untrained eye would not catch this car is a dream. To begin...

At first glance the one thing I can't keep my eyes off is the speedometer. It is huge, massive, and cool beyond belief. When you engage the sport control and push down on the pedal the red meter is exactly what you want to be looking at...(but keep yours eyes on the road please)...

At the head of the cockpit(which is the best word to describe it, as it is so tight and perfect) is a beautiful wheel with optional gear changing on each side and buttons for changing radio stations and for using the voice control.

A quick look at the back reveals the one downside of this car. The space in the back is minuscule at best...

A teenager like me, let alone a grown man, can't really fit in the back seats. But there are some upsides of sitting in the back...

While sitting scrunched up in the back seat, you have the huge pleasure of looking at this...from a design standpoint it really doesn't get any better. It is really a seamless incorporation of vintage styling, racing flare, and complete functionality to create an ultimate drive.

Also while sitting in the rear seat you can have your ears blown out by some of the best speakers I have seen...

They are everywhere and the quality is astounding...take notes Apple.

Another great design is the use of switches and levers in place of buttons. These little things make you feel as though you're in a professional race car.

All in all this car is a wonder. I have to say that BMW has succeeded in  making one of the most iconic designs in the world better. The first Mini's were great but this is better. I feel that the incorporation of technology and new materials is so perfect and subtle that you feel as though you are riding in the best perfuming antiques go-cart you have ever been in. If you can comprehend that. Also not to mention that is crazy fast...

So Mini and BMW. I applaud to you and bow to your car.
