Interview with David Cohen...

We are moving right a long! Another interview...

Today's interview is with David Cohen the CEO of TechStars. David is the head of the number one start-up "accelerator" in the world. This means that if you have a great idea for a company, they can help you make it happen. But they have to pick your idea, and they are quite selective. Either way, David was really kind to share some of his time with me.

Q. If you could talk to your thirteen year old self what would you say and why?

A. Spend more time programming.

Q. How/why/when did you start TechStars?

A. I started TechStars because I believed that the missing ingredient and the scarce resource for most entrepreneurs was great mentorship. I wanted the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Boulder to be better and I wanted to find a more effective way to angel invest.

Q. What can we expect from you in the future?

A. I'll fund the best companies and continue to support them with the most amazing network on the planet.

Q. How could an eighth grader get involved with TechStars?

Perfect, is what I call that. I was really interested in this interview because of this idea of TechStars. I think the concept of helping people "start" is vital to keep the world's thinkers happy, and growing.
Thanks David,
