Interview with Ryan Scherf(@ryanscherf)...

Today's interview is with Ryan Scherf. Ryan is a guy I found on the web, he is a very talented designer of UI's and web sites! I really like his work and he was kind enough to answer my questions!

Q. How did you get into web design?

A. Like anyone else my age, I started with computers around the time AOL used to charge $2.95 per hour.  Everything about design fascinated me at the time. As opportunities arose, I did a lot of pro-bono work and eventually worked my way into finding paying clients.

Q.  What is your favorite food?

A.  Deep dish pizza.

Q. How did you make your website?

A. I collaborated with an illustrator to assist with some of the assets, but always knew I wanted a clean design that showcased my work. It needed to be unique and different.

Q. What is the future of web design?

A. The future of design is very exciting right now -- as designers we are at a point in our careers where every company is starting to care a lot more about design than anything else. Good design sells products, and that is our business.

Q. What computer do you use and why?

A. I have a Macbook Pro and an iMac -- there is really no other machine that compares to the products Apple has put out.

Thanks so much Ryan! Here is the desktop I made for you. Purchase here.
